Guidelines:
As a missionary with Global Outreach International, you are allowed to set your own annual salary. The Board of Directors of Global Outreach International have approved a yearly salary maximum, per missionary, of $85,000. If the requested annual salary exceeds this amount, the missionary will provide details related to the need for a salary more than the approved maximum yearly salary. This can include international cost of living indices, years of experience, education level, comparable salaries for your country and platform position or other family situations that require the additional salary, etc.
Please know this step is in no way a desire to limit the opportunities that missionaries have, nor does the board want to arbitrarily make decisions. This salary cap is reviewed annually, and the Board made this decision because it is important that our missionaries are being paid according to fair market value factors.
